Margaret
Debut novel by Alex V. Damian
What survives us is not spirit, but the shape of our absence.
Margaret is a story about a woman who attempts to control the terms of her own disappearance and discovers that death preserves what she tried to escape. The book examines how emotional states persist outside of time, how others carry our imprint, and how memory interferes with the freedom of the living.

Behind
Upcoming novel by Alex V. Damian
We never look at others without altering what we see.
Behind is a story about a man whose life changes after he observes a woman through her window and begins to reshape himself under the influence of what he sees. The book examines how perception alters the subject, how people project fragments of their own history onto others, and how incomplete memories generate identities that never fully existed. It addresses the transformations that occur when observation becomes a form of participation, and how the past intrudes into the present through involuntary recognition.
